Our journey begins at Marston Lane in Bedworth, where County Joinery specialised in stair manufacturing with just 3 employees.

The company rebrands and receives investment from Travis Perkins 20 years later. 

Having supplied a lot of stairs to sites, and finding that joist supplier/designers changed their specifications, so our stairs didn’t fit, we took the initiative and introduced joists to our offering.  

With a major investment made in 2015, the Travis Perkins acquisition is officially completed in 2021, integrating health and safety, as well as environmental, social, and governance standards. This also encouraged customers to trust and support us as we had a familiar name on board. 

Staircraft expands its product line to include mouldings, closely followed by door kits too. 

In 2017, Staircraft added 5 manufacturing facilities, ending the year with 8 facilities with more planned in 2018. 

By 2019, Staircraft relocates to Colliery Lane, North Bayton Road Industrial Estate, Coventry.

Our status as one of Britain’s fastest growing companies (ranked two years in a row) is an additional step up to us becoming the largest company within our field. Our customers are reaping the rewards of our 40 plus years experience and innovative solutions in the design and manufacture of staircases, i-joists, floor kits, door kit sets, and MDF mouldings.
